Cahaya Photography is the burning passion of two key bokeh-enthusiast photographers based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia who believes in telling stories through light. Oh, yes… with over 12 years in photography, we’ve shot everything from commercial product photography, sports, events, corporate, editorial, stock, portraits and wedding photography… you name it, we’ve shot it. Back then it was on film of course.
The idea of a dedicated family-based photography business was always the brainchild of Kamil, ( Principal of Cahaya Photography ). Later teamed up with his cousins Hazli (Blog, Smugmug) and Erman, they decided to launch Cahaya Photography - a band of contemporary photographers ( we call ‘lightcatchers’ ) focused on covering weddings, events and portraits.
The team consist of 3 main photographers and 2 junior photographers, an arsenal of camera kits, studio equipments and a collection of the finest lens money can buy. Each photographer has his/her unique abilities in telling a story. Each package differs to suit different situations, but generally our prices starts at RM800 for a basic ‘no frills’ package to a RM8000 complete wedding experience. Payments can be made in ‘Cash on Delivery’ terms, or Interbank Giro money transfer from your local banks. Alternatively, credit cards are also accepted thru our online payment processor PAYPAL.
